About

How we work

Focus Improve is independent editorial on the science of attention, habits, and cognition. We care about one thing: what the evidence actually shows about how focus works — and how to use it.

01

We read the actual studies

Not the press release or the secondhand blog summary — the primary research, including sample sizes and limitations.

02

Plain-English mechanisms

We explain WHY something works: the brain process, the behavioral loop, the dose-response curve — in language anyone can follow.

03

We separate hype from evidence

A single mouse study is not a breakthrough. We flag where the science is strong, shaky, or just marketing.

04

No supplement-shilling

We are not here to sell you a miracle pill. When we mention a product, it is because the dose matches the research, and we say so plainly.
